Matt currently serves as president and CEO of non-profit organization, Missions Frontier. His primary focus is administration and business development. Matt served for five years as the Director of Economic Development for Global Development Services in Guatemala as well as administrator of the Hotel Casa Del Rey. Matt is the co-founder and president for The El Camino Bilingual School in Chichicastenango. He also serves as president for the Upthegrove, Hays, & Duke Colegio Cristiano School in Chichicastenango. Leslie holds a Master's of Science Degree and a Ph.D in Psychology. Prior to work in Guatemala, Leslie worked for over 10 years as a mental health counselor in both clinical and in private practice settings in Texas, New Mexico, and Indiana. In addition, Leslie worked as an Associate Psychology Professor for Indiana University in both their under-graduate and graduate programs. Stacey Brasington, CPA - Stacey is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida. Stacey spent five years with Arthur Andersen, LLP in the auditing and financial systems implementation arenas before joining private practice. Stacey has spent over 13 years in private practice, providing corporate system analysis, financial system planning, and strategic growth plans for a multi-billion dollar International chemical company, eventually serving as Vice President - North American Information Systems. She has also provided consulting services for local CPA firms and start-up entities. Stacey has a Master's Degree in Accounting from Florida State University.
Deana Cerniglia - Secretary, Board Member
Deana holds a BA in Psychology, a MA in Special Education, and a Teacher of the Handicapped Certification. She currently serves with Place of Hope, a Christian foundation for children in the ever-failing foster care system, as well as First Care, a Christian foundation designed to support pregnant women who would otherwise choose abortion. Deana is the author of Words From the Wise, a parenting book based on the book of Proverbs. Deana was ordained in December of 2007 as a Deacon at First Presbyterian Church in North Palm Beach and serves on the Fellowship Committee.
Lucky Arnold - Board Member
Rev. Walter B. "Lucky" Arnold III - Rev. "Lucky" Arnold received a B.A. in Religion at FSU and then received a Master of Divinity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston, MA. He was ordained to the gospel ministry in 1978 in Grafton Presbytery, a United Presbyterian Church USA member. He served for three years with the Coalition for Christian Outreach at Salem College, Salem, WV. In 1980, First Presbyterian Church called Lucky to serve as their associate pastor. Later, he was elected to serve as interim senior pastor, replacing Dr. Jim Stout, and shortly thereafter was chosen to be the permanent senior pastor. During his 35 years in ministry, Lucky has served as a commissioner to the Synod and the General Assembly, served on the Southeast Regional Board of Presbyterians for Renewal, chaired the Tropical Florida Executive Presbytery Search Committee, served several terms on the Committee on Ministry and the Palm Beach Atlantic University Board of Trustees.
David Helmer - Board Member
David has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. He co founded Helmer, Inc., a manufacturer and global distributor of medical refrigeration products, in 1977 and presently serves as its CEO. David established and oversees Helmer Global Initiatives, the charitable affiliate of Helmer, which provides resources to its charitable partners around the world. He also serves on various boards of organizations involved in international economic development and aid projects. David lives in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Fred Roguske - Board Member
Fred Roguske holds a Masters in Business Administration from Emory University and has spent a lifetime in the world of business and entrepreneurial endeavors ranging from large corporations (Green Giant Co) to several startup companies. Fred is the president of 501-c3 Global Development Services. Today, he is still active in the management of several of those operations including Global Development Services, Inc, a non-profit with interests on three continents.
Through his entrepreneurial gifts combined with these many years of field experience God has created in him a desire to help national believers develop self supporting ministries which is the main thrust of Global Development Services. A national with the heart to serve, technical training to the specific purpose and some investment capital are usually the three necessary elements to a successful self supporting ministry abroad. Fred has and continues to devote much of what God has blessed him with to those efforts.
